Behind the scenes
I spent the day shooting content for VESTIRSI’s new collection, and there is something I really enjoy about being on set before everything comes to life. In the morning, it is just a rack of pieces, an empty space and a rough plan. By the afternoon, it becomes a full story, built from tiny choices that no one will ever notice individually, but everyone will feel in the final result.
We shot between locations, chasing good light and adjusting as we went. Nothing ever unfolds exactly how the moodboard suggests, but that is where the fun is. The hair that will not sit right, the wind that picks up at the wrong time, the bag that looks perfect in person but needs tweaking on camera. You learn to make fast decisions and trust your eye. When it clicks, it feels effortless.
My favourite part of shooting days is how many hands and perspectives shape the outcome. The stylist, the photographer, the model, the creative direction, the energy on set. Everyone is focused on the same goal, even if we all get there from different angles. There is a quiet kind of magic in that collaboration.
By the end of the day, the camera roll is full, our feet are sore and the concept that started as an idea on a page has turned into something real. That moment never gets old. It is why I love being part of this process.
